Chia pudding

Today is #foodsharefriday, which means that I am going to share a delicious recipe with you guys! Today I am showing you how to make this super healthy and delicious chia pudding.

Chia seeds are an amazing source of omega 3 and protein. I highly recommend vegans to add chia seeds to meals daily. It is super easy to just add them to your breakfast bowls, but you can also make chia pudding. I personally love to have chia pudding as a snack during the day. But you can also use this recipe for breakfast. Let’s get started.

Ingredients

For one portion you need:
1,5 tbsp chia seeds
80 ml unsweetened almond milk
half of a banana
1 tbsp cacao nibs
1 tsp cinnamon

As a topping I used:
buckwheat
coconut flakes
cacao nibs

How to make the chia pudding

  1. Start two hours in advantage or prepare the night before. Add the chia seeds into a bowl.
  2. Mash the banana with a fork and add this to the chia seeds. Now add all the other ingredients, except the toppings.
  3. Stir well, until it is all mixed together. Store it in the fridge for two hours (or one night)
  4. After two hours the pudding is ready and you can add any toppings you like.
